Skateboarding with a pro, wherever you are
Skateboarding is creative, physical and seriously rewarding. A coach helps you learn safely: stance, pushing, turning and stopping first, then kick turns, ollies, dropping in and your first tricks, with tips on falling safely along the way.
Who it’s for
Kids and teens (booked by a parent or guardian), adults learning for the first time, and skaters who want to unlock new tricks.
What a session looks like
A board and safety check, flat-ground fundamentals, then ramp and trick progressions suited to your confidence.
Where you can train
Skateparks, quiet smooth tarmac areas or indoor skate facilities.
What to bring
A skateboard (or ask your coach about loan boards), a helmet, pads, flat-soled shoes and water.
Skateboarding FAQs
Do I need protective gear?
A helmet is strongly recommended, and pads are a great idea when learning. Your coach will advise.
Is it too late to start skateboarding as an adult?
Not at all. Adult skaters often progress steadily with good coaching and safe progressions.
Are Trainow skateboarding coaches verified?
Yes. Before a coach goes live, Trainow reviews their identity, qualifications and insurance, plus safeguarding and DBS checks for anyone coaching children. Every session is rated by real people, so you can see how a coach performs before you book.
